MAG Tornado Extreme Series Rotary Screw & Sliding Vane Air Compressor Oil
MAG Tornado Extreme Series, is a superior quality, synthetic compressor oil. Lubricants for
compressors very dependent upon the type of compressor e.g. reciprocating, rotary, screw and
also the gas being compressed e.g. air, nitrogen and refrigerants etc. Mineral oil based
compressor oils have advanced significantly but some problems areas still exist. These are
predominantly related to the oxidation stability of the lubricant with the high temperatures
experienced in some compressors. With these features firmly in mind MAG Tornado Extreme
Series has been designed specifically to offer superior properties when compared to
conventional mineral based compressor oils. MAG Tornado Extreme Series compressor oil is
manufactured using carefully selected synthetic hydrocarbon base stocks. Ashless Inhibitors are
added to control oxidation, a problem encountered in the high temperature areas of the
discharge zones and anti-wear to protect all the mechanical parts in a compressor.
